What HomeGlow does

HomeGlow is an iOS app that redesigns photos of your home using AI models. To do that, we process the data below — and as little of it as we can manage.

Data we process

Photos you choose to upload. Stored privately, used only to generate your designs. Never public unless you explicitly share a design to the Discover gallery (and the original "before" photo appears there only if you opt in at share time).
Account data. An anonymous account identifier; your email only if you sign in with Apple and share it.
Purchase state. Subscription status via RevenueCat and Apple. We never see your payment details.
Usage analytics. Product events (self-hosted PostHog) to improve the app. Tracking beyond the app happens only if you allow it in the iOS App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Processors we use

OpenRouter — routes your photo and design request to AI image models to produce the redesign.
Apple — sign-in, payments, notifications.
RevenueCat — subscription management.
Hetzner — EU-hosted servers and photo storage.

Retention & deletion

Delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account). Your database records are removed immediately and your stored photos and generated images are purged from storage. Shared Discover posts are removed as part of deletion.

Children

HomeGlow is not directed at children under 13.
